We look forward to seeing you!
Bridge View Light Railway (BVLR) is a new 7 1/4 inch gauge miniature railway, built and operated by a group of enthusiasts and volunteers since 2018 and located in the fabulous grounds of Russells Garden Centre, in Baginton near Coventry. We welcome you to come and have a ride on our trains, to support our community charity, and to explore the grounds.
Our hosts at Russells Garden Centre offer a wide range of both traditional and specialist plants from their own stocks plus those of specialist on-site vendors. You will also find recreational activities such as the Secret Quarry Garden, Wetlands Walk, and Potting Shed Cafe.
Come and find us soon!

We only run on specific days. Please see our Events & Open Days page for upcoming running days, special events, and online booking.
Why not book a private party and have the railway all to yourself!

If you’d like to find out more about supporting the project or volunteering with us to make this railway a reality, then please feel free to contact us or visit on an open day and say ‘hi!’ to our friendly group

TRAIN RIDES
Come and join us for a ride on our railway around part of the scenic Russells gardens.
Both the railway and our gift shop, perfect for young enthusiasts, will be open to the public on standard open days and special events. Turn your visit into a day out by enjoying the other attractions at Russells Garden Centre, such as the Secret Quarry Gardens, Hedge Maze, Wetlands Walk and onsite Café.
ACCESSIBILITY
The railway is an open-air attraction so accessibility on wet days can be difficult, for this reason we recommend sturdy outdoors footwear and clothing on days of inclement weather.
With your help we can also continue to work towards purchasing a wheelchair-friendly carriage.
